They offer low-cost spay/neuter services and medical assistance for everyone, (with the exception of breeders) regardless of the owner's address or ability to pay. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-access humane society and provides services to over 7,000 cats, dogs, puppies and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925, they have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services. Through the adoption and spay/neuter programs, their vision is to ensure that there are no homeless animals and every animal has a home in Palm Beach County. (561-686-6656)

A Second Chance Rescue combines a no-nonsense goal of saving animals lives with the blood, sweat and tears of countless volunteers, and financial supports from various donors (individuals and corporations alike). In its second year the group is growing rapidly and has established relationships with various pet stores in Palm Beach County and is now making efforts to expand into Broward County as well. Greyhound Pets of America is a 501(c)3 corporation organized and run completely by volunteers who are dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for racing greyhounds that no longer qualify to compete at the racetrack. (561-478-3330)
